Good News

I have good news!

I know this is a photography website, and you might not have expected to find something like this here—but this is the most important message I could ever share with you. Before I’m a photographer, I’m a follower of Jesus. My life, my work, and every breath I take are gifts from Him—and my deepest hope is that you would come to know Him too. This page is here because your soul matters more than your photos, and eternity is far more important than anything we experience here on earth. More than anything I do with a camera, my greatest hope is that you come to know the One who created you, loves you, and gave His life so you could be forgiven and free. That’s why I’ve set aside this space—not to preach at you, but to offer hope, truth, and the Good News that changed my life. If you’ve ever wondered what Christianity is really about—or if you’re carrying guilt, shame, fear, or just searching for meaning—please keep reading. The Gospel isn’t about being “good enough” or religious. It’s about grace, love, and a relationship with Jesus Christ.

What is the Gospel?

The word Gospel means “Good News”—and it really is good.

But to understand the Good News, we first have to understand the bad news.

The problem

Every one of us has sinned—by nature and by choice.

We’ve all lied, acted selfishly, broken God’s commands, and tried to run life our own way.

Because God is holy and just, He must punish sin. And the penalty is death—eternal separation from Him. (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23)

No amount of good deeds or religion can fix this. We can’t earn our way to God.

The hope

But God, rich in mercy, made a way.

He sent His Son—Jesus Christ—to live the perfect life we never could.

Jesus died on the cross to take the punishment we deserved. Then He rose from the dead, defeating sin and death forever. (Romans 5:8, 1 Corinthians 15:3–4)

This is the Good News:

Jesus paid the full price so you can be forgiven, made new, and live forever with God.

The response

Salvation is a free gift—offered to anyone who will trust in Jesus alone. And the result of true salvation is a life turned around and a mind changed with a desire to follow and obey Christ, which is called repentance.

It’s not about being good enough or cleaning yourself up. It’s about grace.

Through faith in Christ, you can be made right with God, fully forgiven, and given eternal life. (Ephesians 2:8–9, John 3:16)

What now?

If you’ve never trusted in Jesus before, I encourage you to take this seriously. This isn’t about religion or pressure—this is about your soul. Nothing else in life compares to knowing the God who made you.

If you have questions, need prayer, or want to talk more, I’d be honored to hear from you.

“For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?”

—Mark 8:36

Why am I sharing this on my photography website?

You might be wondering why a photographer is sharing the Gospel on her business page. The answer is simple—and deeply personal.

  1. Because as a follower of Christ, I’m called to share the Gospel (Mark 16:15).

  2. Because my identity is in Jesus, not my job. I want Him to be the first thing people know about me.

  3. Because I care about you—the person reading this. I care too much to stay silent about eternity. The Bible is clear: without Christ, we are separated from God forever. Yes, Hell. That’s not something I take lightly.

  4. Because I’m grateful. I came to realize this gift of salvation in 2019, and every day since then I’ve been growing in my relationship with God. I want to glorify Him in everything I do—including this business.

If you’ve made it this far, thank you for reading. My prayer is that you won’t brush this off. We aren’t promised tomorrow, and once we die, there are no second chances.

“Today is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2).

You are deeply loved. God created you in His image and wants to have a relationship with you. Please think on these things—and if you ever want to talk more, my inbox is open.
